Short Sale Genius

Lee Honish is a career Loss Mitigator, asset manager and over all Bank Guy.

He started his real estate career in 1986 working for Invescor Inc and as a REO liquidator for Beneficial of California doing asset management and property management. He went on to work for Homecomings GMAC (pre merge and post merge) as an asset manager and property manager. Finally Lee landed a job working for IndyMac Bank as an asset manager for their Construction Lending Division and then as the head of Loss Mitigation for the Home Equity Division (HELOC).

Lee worked on and negotiated hundreds of files weekly and maintained the highest return rate of record in the short sale industry for a second position lien. Lee's real claim to fame comes from negotiating a successful resolution on 95% of the files that went accross his desk. This means that only 1 in 20 files would reach foreclosure sale.

Lee lives in Orange County and as you can tell from his photo, he also enjoys watching and announcing (sometimes even participating in) boxing, MMA and UFC events.

Trent started out in the Mortgage Business in the area of Construction Lending, where he eventually met Lee. At the time Lee worked in 'asset management' for one of the top construction lenders and happened to call Trent on one of his files (it ended well :).

A few years after they met, Lee continued working for the same lender and was transferred to the HELOC division and Trent became a Broker and opened an office in North San Diego County. Trent and Lee worked on some small projects together in 2006. Early in 2007, after Trent had spent thousands of dollars learning all that theself-proclaimed 'experts' knew about short sales, he finally teamed up with Lee. Together they created a system to effectively acquire short sale listings, market them and negotiate with the lender and prove that it is in their best interest to accept the offers presented sooner rather than later.

Trent lives with his wife Sarah and their son and 2 girls in Carlsbad, CA

Ryan has worked for years now in the Technology side of the Real Estate industry.  He has created a team of web designers and developers to offer tools and solutions to assist Real Estate professionals to leverage their web presence and to better use their time.

 After Lee spent years developing the Short Sale Calculator, Ryan worked with Lee to put this powerful tool in an online user friendly format where Lee can tweak and adjust the calculations as the market adjusts and the industry standards change.
